The Take my Hand event was a wonderful concert in honor of Alli’s Journey, which is a charitable organization that was created by Alli Shapiro Amar. She was diagnosed with cancer before she was 20, and while she was in her years of treatment, Alli and her mother noticed the lack of resources for young adults with cancer and were decided to do something about it, so thus the charity was born. Now that Alli has unfortunately passed, Alli’s Journey lives on in her mother Pam, and you can still see the passion and determination in her eyes of what she has accomplished and what she wants to accomplish in the future. There were some amazing artists that came out in support of the cause, Jully Black, Kelly Lee Evans, Aion Clarke, Florence K, just to name a few.
